Morning all,

we are thinking of taking our Hybusa engined SR3 to Spa for a 2 day session in earlier October. We have held off doing this as we have been told that we'd spend a lot of time just sitting on the rev limiter (assumming we go fast enough!)

What's the view....change ratio's or are we going to be ok?

Yep Radical recommend 2.917:1 which is what we used in our 1300 SR3 for two fantastic days in July. Depending on how quick you are in IMHO you could get away with 3.071:1 which is what we use for Silverstone GP.

Don't Hesitate, GO TO SPA. The only problem you will have is you wont want to go anywhere else after !

I find every circuit has something brilliant about it but at some the package is so much more. Le Mans Bugatti was simply fantastic in an SR3! Goodwood too was wonderful, if slightly scary at times!

Trying to persuade my chums that we should go for it!

Doesn't it rain at Spa all the time though?

silverthorn2151 i will se you there, im taking my SR3 for th 2 days. went in june and one day (rain) was challenging. 2nd say was good.

weather you run out of gears all depends on how much speed you can carry through eau rouge and up in to radion. the Kammel straight is the only place you will find the limiter in 6th in my opinion.
