Dunlop Safety Bulletin
Discussion
I assume you are meaning the safety bulletin that Radical put out that referenced the Dunlop advice, tyre pressures and downforce? If so it was Safety Bulletin 2008 - no. 1, dated April 30 2008. I can't find a link to it but I have a paper copy if you have a specific question or otherwise, PM me your e mail address and I'll PDF a copy to you.
Yep that's the one.
It seems to have gone awol from the web meantime; wouldn't mind a copy if you'd be so kind Martin ......... I'll ping you an email with my EM.
That bulletin has put in an appearance on this forum before (on more than one occassion), like >

As you'll see, concensus from very quick blokes like Darren (in terms of what it recommended for such as SR4 & PR06 - said similar about the SR3 from memory) is follow it and say hello to the gravel trap / tyre wall

I wish I had the time to test running at those sort of pressures & see how the car grips / feels on it.
Having never tried going that high pressure, I couldn't say how it would affect the grip level's.
I would guess as a minimum you would have to take some camber out of the setup to compensate for the harder inside edge supporting more of the cars weight? Talking to a few people in the club cup paddock a few do use those recommended pressure to good effect, but would of thought its more relevant to the heavier / more downforce generating SR3's than PR6's.

Here is the safety Bulletin for anyone interested http://socalpeeps.yuku.com/topic/1081/t/Radical-sa...
Does this also apply to HD Prosports as well, or does a PR6 produce significantly higher amounts of downforce?

Well Found Tom! ............ wonder how Pete Fowler is getting on with his new (non-Radical) car?
There are and remain many many unanswered questions regarding this Bulletin (not the least say a still downloadable SR4 Owners Manual that still references TPs of 20Psi hot???????????????), one of the most fundamental (as Mart rightly pointed out when he emailed me it - Cheers Martin!), whether it is currently regarded as 'still applicable'!
I'm minded to ask Will @ ROC whether he can obtain guidance direct from Radical and circulate it.
