I was wondering which fuel you guys recommend for track days?

Radical will probably recommend Sunoco racing fuel, but at £3.00 per litre, is that necessary for track days?

What about BP Ultimate, Shell's equivalent V-Power or, dare I say it, Tesco 99-octane?

The car is a Radical SR3 with a Suzuki tuned to 1550 cc.

Cheers,

Chris

What do Powertec suggest, and what is the engine mapped to run on? If it doesn't pink/knock on V-power or other 99 octane fuels, I'd use them!

My fully tuned 1300cc Busa was mapped on Shell V power & runs fine on the Sunaco race fuel too.

If they've subsequently been re-mapped with more ignition advance on a higher octane fuel, you're stuck using that unless you remap the ignition advance....
