... on an early SR3?

The pamphlet says it's under the left (NS???) sidepod... took that off, but no sign! Also took off the drivers side, but no sign!

Guess it's snuggled up next to the fuel tank under all that panelling! Is it behind the side panelling, or do I have to lift the seats and remove the panel above the tank?

Cheers!

Yup, thats where it should be. Only suggestion I can make is follow the fuel lines until you find it.

have fun trying to remove the seats!

i tried this without taking off the cockpit section (ps seats come out a treat if you remove the cockpit section) and it was almost impossible. you have to undo the falcrum and link of the gear linkage to get the double seat unit out. it can be done, but you have to stand on your head!

Lol... was fiddling with it last night! Got all the seat mounting points released, then tried to lift it out... no chance - was fouling the steering-wheel. Went to undo the bolts on the steering wheel - all stripped, so had to drill them out. Tried to lift out the seat... no chance - was fouling the flyscreen. Gave up to try another day!

To get the seat out you need to disconnect the gear shift and remove the lever. You also have to remove the cross bars that run from the roll-hoop to the front bulkhead. It should then come out with a tug or two. Haven't you got a snap off steering-wheel?
