Have been offered some slicks for my ZZR clubsport but they aren't the same size as currently fitted (185/530/13 and 210/560/13 on alley cats), sizes available are 16/53/13, 23/57/13 and also 200 and 230 widths (not got profile details for these yet). All radials so running with camber also.

Not too sure if the wider tyres will fit under the arches though, not keen on going narrower.

Any advice appreciated,

Dunc.

Hi Dunc

The replacements you have been offered sound like Michelins (great tyres) and I have a fair bit of info relating to those. Ping me an email via PH about what you've been offered tyre-wise and also check and tell me what width rims front and rear you've presently got; frankly, for those 23/57-13's (FR02s?), you'll ideally need to be running 10" wides; to my mind they look a little bit 'overtyred' on 9" wide rims and like ruddy drag tyres on 8" wides, which I think may have been the original rim width size on the rear end of an earlier Prosport? That said, I may have some 10" wides about to come spare.

We can then communicate direct via personal emails.

Cheers smile

Message sent.

Sounds like I'd have to take the 160 wides and 200's for rear which is slightly smaller than current 185 and 210 frown
