The wiring loom on the PR6 incorporates a correct marked plug to fit the Radical supplied Bosch waterpump, but on switching the ignition on no power goes to the pump.

I am guessing the power is only applied to the pump when the ecu has established the engine is running? If so does it then apply constant power to the pump or go on & off depending on the temperature of the water?

Thanks!

It is controlled by the ECU, I *think* the Radical config runs the pump all the time and for a period of time after the engine has stopped. However I know the MBE will change the pump speed etc depending on water temp.

Cheers Rob. Wonder how it changes the speed of the pump, by varying the voltage to it?

iirc it doesn't change the speed but pulses the motor on and off depending on temp.

Don't trust it myself....if there is no water flowing how can you be sure the temp sender is getting a reliable reading? Having the pump on all the time would be my preferred option.
