Hi Guys,

I've no connection to these guys - but like to pass on decent contacts when they arise...

Tim at rocket Graphics knocked up some Radical 'R' logo's for my car, and with my supplied dimmensions he actually managed to make backgrounds with my numbers pre printed and with a 'notch' cut out at the top to fit around the body clip recess found on the club/pro sports - saved me making a mess with the stanley knife !!

Tim is a radical owner himself - i found him on here last year (tprocket) always good to deal with fellow radical owners...

Mark.

Yep, nice bloke to deal with. Hope to see you at the ROC day Tim.

How did you find fitting the graphics, difficult or PIA to do yourself?

Nick

As long as you get it correctly positioned at the start point, although apparently a bit unwieldy, the big R should be relatively easy as it's vinyl bits are relatively narrow; also a Prosport doesn't have that really sharp angle like on the front of an SR4 which can result in having to encourage a vinyl over with a bit of hair dryer; my experience is that the wider the vinyl gets, the more damn difficult and nerve racking it gets.

Good Luck biggrin

Having just fitted a 'big R' on an SR4 bonnet this weekend I can safely say that I'd rather be strung up from my garage ceiling by fish hooks through my eyeballs than attempt it again....

I fitted a set of stripes around the wheel arches and down the sides of the car and they were irritating but not too bad. I also covered most of the bi-plane wing in dayglo orange vinyl for a change...

I got all of the vinyl from Miles at Green chilli vinyl,

That's down to those really sharp edges/changes of plane on an SR4's front bodywork. Practice makes perfect they say ..............and four hands is bloody handy as well. You know that strange rising hot feeling you get on the back of your neck when you're noshing a really hot curry? I get a similar feeling when I've got a debacked piece of vinyl with a mind of it's own in my hands! banghead

will try to attach a pic of first proper test yesterday - you can hopefully see the Radical 'R' the guys did - and also the number boards - you can't see the 'Radical Prosport' detail at the bottom of them, but can hopefully see the 'cut outs' they did to fit around the recess for body clips... much neater than me hacking at them :-)
