Radical Racing: Dry-break upgrade kit

Got an email from Radical parts today about the dry break upgrade kit following announcements related to race rules.

Anyone know what this is about?

Well it was sent to a long list of people Nick, not just me. Looks like the dry break stuff has been uprated (new bottle and fittings). I just hope I don't need to upgrade mine as that's a big cost!

Yep, that's why my clubsport was fitted with it. The Club Cup doesn't have refuelling so it should be ok. Provided it's not one of those rules that says if it's fitted it must be up to 09 regs! I guess it can always come off.

is it dry breal for the fuel bottle - or for fuel sampling Bert ??

If the latter it only applies to fuel injected cars - not carbs :-)

It's a new ATL bottle and fittings for "dumping" by the look of the pic.I don't think it's to do with fuel sampling though.

Thanks Nick, they are talking about the fuel sampling dry-break kit and the Radical email was about dry-break refuelling (which is why the upgrade kit was so expensive). You don't need it (refuelling) if you are not refuelling in the pitlane.
