I have a set of large racing wheels on my Lola Porsche painted I think dulux white (not kidding).

I want to find a shop to strip, clean and paint the rims satin Black.

I live in the West Midlands; does anyone know of a competent shop who can do this work?

If not locally, somewhere in the UK?

Thanks, Graham.

Try Chris Walker (Modifications & Refurbishment Manager) @ Rimstock (Direct No 0121 524 3043, cwalker@rimstock.com ) They did a wheel refurb job for me about 9 months ago (think it will ring a bell with him if you mention Dark Silver Cooper S / Waterfront), top notch job and a decent price. One of the few companies anywhere whose systems are OEM Approved. Should be convenient for you; Postcode is B71 1BB (West Brom)

They are flyweight mag alloy, so I want to keep them.
Thanks for the Rimstock details, about 20 mins from where I live!

Hope they wont be too much or close to new rims (ie Image centre locks etc).
Graham.

I think they'll be able to do them and at a decent price; they have good experience of specialist racing rims - company is owned by BTCC's Matt Neal's father. Well worth a call I think...............I found Chris a very helpful chap................nothing was too much trouble.

Yes, I think Chris is a member of my Car Club!
I should have thought about them myself, but I thought Team Dynamics etc were aftermarket only etc, I will see what happens. These wheels (ex F2 from the 70's) are all part of the cars history, so I want to keep them despite them being ugly!
Graham.
