Hi All

Does anyone have, or does anyone know someone who might have, a nose section and a tail section from an older-style Clubsport (the type with surface-mounted body clips)? Not necessarily looking for immaculate, just serviceable

Also, I'm looking for some rear uprights, either twin-pot or four-pot pattern.

Anything doing?

Cheers

Laurence

Hi I've got two Prosport front sections I want to get rid of. 1 useable and one damaged but repairable. Countersunk catches but will fit on the flush ones

Aha, there's no pulling the wool over your eyes Bert!

Inspired by fascinating shots of LMP, Group C and GTP cars in Mulsanne’s Corner (www.mulsannescorner.com) and Simon McBeath’s treatise on Competition Car Aerodynamics (www.sm-designs.ndo.co.uk/books.html), the idea is to develop the Clubsport into a full-on ground effect rocket. You know the kind of thing; high volume rear diffuser pumped by a huge low-mounted rear wing, like the Porsche 962 (www.mulsannescorner.com/joestporsche962c.html) and front venturis with vents exiting in to the low-pressure region each side of the bodywork behind the front wheels, like the Porsche RS Spyder (www.mulsannescorner.com/PorscheRSSpyder-1.html), all powered by a (let’s be honest) 150 hp Kawasaki engine…

…on the other hand, if I can get hold of some spare bodywork, I might just keep it standard for the rainy day when my current bodywork gets marmalised against the Armco wink

Thanks for the offer Simon - unfortunately I think the front-section/rear-section bodywork locators on the late-type bodywork are different to those on the early-type bodywork (round on the early type, sausage-shaped on the late type). The late type could probably be modded to suit though. If I have no luck finding early bodywork, I might get back to you.

Quick circuit Thruxton. At the end of the clip you are just waiting for the crunch that fortunately never comes!

Mmmm... just viewed your videos - plenty of opportunity to create some 'damaged but repairable' bodywork there methinks wink

Will give you a buzz to discuss.

Cheers
