Hi All,

I have started looking at SR4s and saw one today which ticks most of the boxes.

Now here's the problem...I'm 6"4' and found it all just a bit too tight. I dont know a huge amount about the SR4, but it looked to me like the seat was back as far as it could go. There was still about a inch of room between the rear of the seat and the bulkhead, but it was as far back on the bracket as it could go. Can this be modified to slide back a little further ?

I assume the only other ajustment available is in the pedals. How much extra room can be gained by moving the pedals ?

Are there any SR4 drivers on here who are tall, will I fit, or do I have to start the search all over again ?

Many Thanks

James

The driver/owner of the yellow SR4 in the for sale section is 6ft 3 and has no problem with space.

Josh has answered your question and given you the good news. He's absolutely right: We are not quite as tall as you or him, but Willbee and I are both about 6'1" and we don't even have the seat as far back as it could go, nor the pedals as far forward as they could go! Could be your concerns are just the technique and dexterity you need to develop and get used to get into cockpits like the Radical's; rest assured, it gets a lot easier with practice! Your considerable height certainly won't be a problem, you'd likely have more difficulty if you have huge feet and/or shall we say (to be PC) expanded girth! drink

Look forward to hearing when you've joined the rapidly moving world of Radical! clap
