Hi Guys,

does anyone know of a supplier that do radical graphics - in terms of either the 'R' you get on the std models, through to the graphics kits themselves.. i.e. custom fit over wheel arches etc etc....

I assume there are aftermarket suppliers out there ???

Mark.

Hi Mark,

I am a fellow Radical owner (Clubsport) who also runs a graphic production company!
I have the Radical "R" and logo digitised already and can produce in any colours/size

Send me an email if you need further info?

Tim

A while back (2 years?) there was a post about a group buy of these so have a search and see if some of the people are still active, think BazzerV8 might have been involved. But that's dragged up from deep in the memory banks so don't quote me.

There's also Paul Trayhurn who races a Radical and I believe may run a vinyl graphics company. I don't know why I think that's the case, again a distant memory. He might be a starting point in getting something done.

Sorry Tim, we must have been typing at the same time!

Yeah, guilty, it was me who started to organise the group buy of large "R" decals. In the end I got a half a dozen quotes and simply shared the contact details of the best quote around those who wanted it. The price worked out to just under £21 posted, that's for a single large R, size 580mm x 740mm, in two colours to give the shadow effect. Price may have changed a little by now? I am not precious about it, so if you can find a better deal go for it, or PM me if you want the contact details, cheers Geoff ps they are a bit of a pain to apply over the front section which is far from flat even on a ye olde Clubsport

Best way to apply the vinyl graphics on curved surfaces is as follows:

Clean off area thoroughly with meths and spray the area with water mixed
with a couple of drops of washing up liquid.

Remove the backing paper from the vinyl and place onto the (wet) area.
The washing up liquid in the water will allow you to slide the vinyl into position
and around the contours.

Once you are happy with the position "squeegee" out as much of the water you
can using a plastic squeegee or credit card! Leave for a couple of hours or overnight
until the water has evaporated and peel off the cover paper.........voila!

Maybe I'm not patient enough, but using a similar method I still struggled to get the decal to sit really neatly around the compound curves.
