Would I be right in thinking this is a fuel drain valve?



If so am I right in thinking that it is designed to accept another fitting to take the fuel back to a jerry can.

Nick, that bit is really just a T piece with a blank on it. It is just so you can pump all the fuel out easily.

Thanks Martin, I hadn't investigated closely just noticed it yesterday when poking around. At a quick glance it looked like the spare part of the T might have more function.

It looks like a "dry break" coupling for pumping out the fuel, to use it you need the mating part attached to a piece of hose.

It's not a dry break coupling. Its a T piece with a blanking plug. Do not undo it when the fuel pumps are running! Its used to drain the tank, you need an aeroquip female fitting with a push fit on the other end that you can attach a piece of hose to
