Am currently racing a 997 cup in Porsche Open (new to racing), have spent most of my trackday life in 911s. But running a cup car is hugely expensive (15k engine rebuilds).

Hence, am looking to buy a new or nearly new SR3 1500 and race in the club championship in '09.

Have contacted Radical and got some basic info on new car costs, engine refresh costs, etc.

Would appreciate any advice from Radical owners/racers and any links to as much info, as I can digest.

Will be finishing my races in the cup car in Sept, then will look to sell and buy the Radical in time for new season.

Cheers
Rob

Hi, Why not come to Combe for the July meeting, all the Radical teams will be there. I'd be happy for you to spend a day with us...

btw.. think I was racing (against) you in the MSVR race at Silverstone last month. Think you were fastest Radical. I got 4th in GT class.

In the second race, I had a 'discussion' with one of your lot in the first one smile Rob C was the class of the field in that race (in the car that is now for sale!)
