My Clubsport is currently up on chassis stands with all suspension, except spring-damper units, fitted. This means I can raise or lower the suspension to any bump or droop position (which incidently is a good way of illustrating how the Nik-link works on the front).

Anyhow, whilst exercising the front suspension up and down, I noticed that, at full lock position, the wheel inner rim fouls the lower wishbone at the part that projects down to provide the suspension lower pickup. This would explain the score marks on some of my front rims, which I had previously thought must be due to a trapped stone or some other bit of track debris frown So...

The question is, is there a standard fix that reduces the steering lock by a small amount? maybe a split collar at each end of the rack, that can be installed without having to do a complete rack rebuild?

Also, does anyone know the make of rack used? Titan maybe?

Laurence - I think this one was answered a couple of months or so ago by Simon T on here, search his replies and you should come up with it. I think he suggested putting a sleeve in somewhere.

ETA Sorry Laurence, just searched his posts and it might not have been Simon, fairly sure the answer is in here somewhere though. Radical Rob will probably know...

Just make sure you have a pair of these lock restrictors at each end of the rack smile HTH
