With all my brake MC filling up to bleed the brakes, the master cylinder is leaking from where the extension is screwed on. Is there a seal in there? I can't tighten it up, so I am going to have to take it off and clean it and put it back. If it has a seal, I can get a new one beforehand.
Tks

Hi,

There is a seal, or at least there should be. Same size as the one in the lid

Do you mean this - http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/BRAKE-&-CLUT...

If so yes you can biggrin they are a bugger to fit you have to press down really hard for them to bite onto the master cylinder. Possibly your problem is its not fitted properly.

that's the one. It is not newly fitted, it must have been disturbed with all the taking the cap off and putting it back on. As it's a bit rusty, I assume it's got to come off to get sorted.

I'll prob buy a new one from Merlin.
