Just realised I am butting in on a FS thread with my hearsay, sorry! I searched and found this http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

The confusion usually comes from the ZX12R which is completely different from the ZZR1200 and would require a lot of work to fit as all the mounts are different and it even has a cable clutch. It would however give more power.
I bought one but in the end decided it would be too much work and sold it back to go the whole way and put the ZX14 as the amount of work was similar for much more gain in power and torque from the standard engine.

Hi Guy's,
Have recently sold the engine now and installed it into a club sport for the chap that bought it. Just to clear up any hear say it fitted straight in and was relatively easy to fit.
If anyone else needs any help with this sort of installation I will be more than happy to help!!!
