I have the wider wheel option (front & rear) on my SR4 and I've recently noticed that on both front wheels, the inside edge of the wheel flange (right on the edge where it goes from vertical to flat towards the outside of the wheel)is getting lightly 'clipped' - not a lot, but damn annoying - looks like they are contacting the bottom edge of the lower radius arm/wishbone on say maximum lock - have looked at the inside edge of the standard width front alloys and there's no sign of any contact on those, so it seems to be related to the extra width of the wider wheels - perhaps they have a slightly different offset that pushes them further inwards towards the centre of the car?

Anyone else had this problem? How do I resolve? Spacers or just to avoid maximum lock? The latter isn't very practical - for all I know, this has occured when I've been manouvreing the car on/off the trailer and in/out of the garage / pits. The obvious thing would seem to slightly grind away the contact point on the radius arm / wishbone, but I'm not keen on doing that sort of thing - just not the right/proper thing to do, if you know what I mean.

By the way, the alloys are Compomotive CXRs.

Assistance much appreciated.

Make some nylon bushes to fit on the rack to limit the amount of travel.
