My CS has 300lb springs front and back (which is unepxected). Does anyone have any views on whether that's good or what is better?
Thanks
Bert

Bert, I had a look at the spring rates on my CS which I bought last year. You think you had a surprise! I found 500lb rear springs with the right front 300lb and the left front 450lb!!!. I have only driven it about 4 times so have not really wrung the cars neck yet, but have found it predictable to drive in both dry and wet conditions.
It can't be right though can it?
Maybe it has been set up more for RH corners?
Any thoughts?

How does yours handle with 300s all round?

Guys,
300lb front springs imo are about right,
rears you should be looking at 500-600lb maybe more.
Try these as a base setting then work from there.
A lot will depend on your driving styles etc etc.
Good luck
Tony.

last year, I was running with a single element wing. So I could never lose traction at the back and had good chunks of understeer. 300 was prob far too low for the rear with a wing. The wing is off for this year, so I'll start with my 300's all round and see how it goes.

Was hoping to have the car back together with its new suspension and brakes, have it shaken down and be competing by now. Best laid plans etc.

Bert..
I am running 325 front without nik-lik and 475 Rear at present which was my first base setting.. (note I don't have a rear wing) the car handle's well but I will be trying stiffer rear springs on my next test session 550 and 625 just too see what happens..
