Is the gear indicator on the Radical dash supposed to work on the SR4 1200?

Ours shows either 0 when in N or 6 once in any gear.

When you say "Radical dash" not sure if you mean the dash in the steering wheel which is a Farringdon product with the manual available from http://www.farringdoninstruments.co.uk/documents_a... SWIS10 is relevant for the older SR4's. If this is the case then the gear is normally derived from mph/xxx rpm settings keyed into the data logging.

Hope this helps.

Hi Nick,

I mean the dashboard on the car not the wheel mounted type.
Would like one of those but a bit out of reach at the moment.

Gear indicators on Kwak's have never been very successful, a couple of prototypes were tested with random success at the end of 2006 but the conversion to Suzuki meant that there is no real requirements and the project was shelved.

FYI the GPI works from a rotary potentiometre mounted to the end of the selector drum in the same way that the Busa has from standard, this is the hardest part to make / source.
