The rear arb on my CS (not niklinky) has about 1/2inch sideways movement. There must be some sidethrust in the setup as the witness marks are very clear. So there is 1/2inch clearance between the arb pivot blocks that the arb runs in and the locating washers welded to the arb.

First question...do they all do that (sir)?
Second question (if answer #1 is no) why is mine doing it?

The arb pivot blocks are narrower than the fixing plate which suggests maybe the blocks are too narrow.

The blocks and fixing plate can be seen here...

Thanks

Here is a picture of SportLibre's arb blocks

The blocks are both hard up to the welded on stops.
The blocks are those green pipe clamp type things (normally used for supporting hydraulic pipe).

thanks, that's how I thought it ought to look. I assume the blocks are the same width as the cover plate where mine are narrower?

Think it the same on all club/prosports on my prosport it has a cable tie taking up the sideways movement to fix it you can drill two new holes and bring the arb bracket in to take up the free play, in fact why haven't i done that yet confused
