I am looking for a spare engine for the next season.
Should be a Powertec ZZR1100.
Anybody got one laying around that is no more needed?

Cheers

Oli

You'll be interested in this then http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/324798.htm (not me selling this by the way, just something I noticed in passing).

Failing that I have a powertec 1200 that could be available if you are not bothered about capacity.

I am looking for a "little" cheaper spare engine, one that will not need rebuild within the next few hours.
I need an engine that is plug an play ready to go.

3700 pound is almost half the price of a used clubsport...

Your best bet will probably be ebay then for a non-powertec motor straight out of a ZZR that somebody has chucked down the road. Something like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KAWASAKI-ZZR1100-ENGINE-KITC...

I'm sure you know the score pricewise with genuine Radical/Powertec parts...

It's essentially the price of a full rebuild including case. Didn't JP have an engine for sale?

hi olly hope you are well and still enjoying and looking after my car

dont forget that you need to allow an addtional about £400 for the mods you need to convert a motorbike engine for car use

is there a problem with the engine or are you just playing safe
