Hi guys,
i would like to introduce me (i don't know if there is a special section for this).
I am a froggy how live in France: Le Mans (normal so far.)
A car's fanatic guy !!!
I run on track days, espacialy at Le Mans (what a track!).
I own an modified VX 220 turbo (named speedster turbo in France):
275 HP /455 Nm /990 kg
I realy like this car but i would like to go further for track days.
I saw very nices things on RADICAL.
As RADICAL is a very rare car here in France, i don't know much from this.
And i would like to buy one in England but i realy need help to lurn and to know witch model could suite me the best.
So far, all i can tell is:
-2 seats
-better power feeling than my speedster
-fun
-reliability
My search (informations from the web) let me think the SR4 could be a good choice.
I have got much more questions and i would realy apreciate that you could help me.
Please, excuse my so bad English !

Welcome chord

I live in France as well (close to Geneva Switzerland) and I have an old 1100cc Clubsport that was converted to a two seat model by Van Kaiser at Slipstream Racing. These cars are quicker than Porsche, Ferrari or just about anything else on track days (except larger Radicals). There is a Radical distributor in France, but I imagine that that you will do better buying a good condition used car in the UK. Clubsports are a good beginners value (I bought mine for around £8000 two years ago). Additionally 1200cc SR4's can be found at a good price these days as well.

If you want, email me with your phone number and we can talk.
Désolé de ne pas écrire en français mais, ce n'est pas mon point fort.

Hi guys,
-reliability
Just budget for an engine refreash every 20-30hours (depending on use and usual signs of tired engine i.e. low oil pressure, smoke, low compression etc). Apart from that they will do everything else you need.

Hi Chord I am selling a red SR4 in classifieds. It really is almost as new as it has not ever been to a track. However I have had lots of interest but it seems everyone wants to part exchange their car with me. Please contact me if you are at all interested. This car really will be the best condition second hand Radical you will find. Also the SR4 is cheaper to run than an SR3.
Kind Regards Wavesport7.
