Hello Radical people . . . I was wondering if any of you had turbo hayabusa radicals or similar and used a powered shifter. If you do, I'd be grateful for your experience as I am trying to choose a powershifter for my Busa turbo car.
The reason I ask is that I've heard powershifting a turbo motor well is a bit trickier that an atmo motor - dunno why, just heard it is.
I was ready to hand over money for a system (any system) and my tuner said he'd never seen any powershifter work well on a turbo motor and advised to wait until I found a system that definately worked as I'd expect - i.e. fast and reliable changes, ideally with blipped downshifts.

Advice/Experience appreciated.....

The Radical one is probably one of the best out there, but it ain't cheap. We've used a Proshift in the past and its a bit agricultural

Rob,

I have just installed a Holeshot turbo from Jack Frost on my Radical SR3, but I have not been able to test it with the Proshift.

It has been great with the standard Busa.

How has your turbo been running? I have had many issues with my turbo so far. Lost the entire last season with tuning and engine issues.

If you get a chance, e-mail me at kastenins@aol.com. I would like to talk to you about your turbo.

Thanks,

Grant

Hi Grant, think you are confusing me with some one else, I don't run a turbo on my Radical.

Cheers
