Can anyone tell me what diameters the Clubsport anti-roll bars and Nik links are available in? The Rad website just states 'Hard', 'Medium' and 'Soft'
I'd just like to establish where I am as regards front and rear roll stiffnesses.
Cheers

on the rear, isn't there just one bar with different drop link mounting points?

There are at least two thickness of rear ARB , and yes the also adjust by using the different mounting points for the drop links.

I checked the diameters of the Nik link and rear ARB on my Clubsport yesterday evening; they’re 0.75”. I know (from looking at other Clubsports) that there is at least one diameter smaller than this available.

The Rad website (http://www.radicalsportscars.com/online) identifies 'Hard', 'Medium' and 'Soft'

So what I’d like to know is, are the 0.75” bars ‘Hard’ or ‘Medium’

Why do I want to know this? I’ll explain!

To overcome the inherent understeer characteristic of the Clubsport, I’ve gone slightly softer (yes softer!) on the front springs, 220 lb/in instead of 250 lb/in. This makes it turn in better and avoids the understeer that I’d previously been experiencing around long bends like Luffield at Silverstone. The problem is, I’m having to run slightly higher ground clearance at the front than otherwise necessary to avoid the front splitter digging in under hard braking – not good for aero down force!

So, I’m thinking of returning to firmer front springs in conjunction with either a softer front bar or firmer rear bar and/or springs.

So, does anyone know if 0.75” bars ‘Hard’ or ‘Medium’?

Constructive feedback gratefully received!

Just throw it away biggrin

I've got one hanging up at the garage, when I get a second I'll measure it so atleast you'll have a couple sizes to compare

The front bar my PR6 came fitted with, which I guess is the medium one measures 19mm. I also bought a soft front bar which measures up at 16mm.

The standard fit rear bar it came with measures 16mm.

Rob - When you said "Just throw it away", did you mean the whole car eek or just the Nik link?

Throwing the car away might be a bit extreme biggrin

No I was referring to the nik link, I personally don't run one but its not a case of just taking it off you need to change spring rates etc to get the car working with out one. However my car does work very well, very netural handling (personally I hate any kind of understeer) Also tyres have a big effect on the general handling of the car, the Avons I run are like blue-tac biggrin
