Has anyone fitted the Prosport centre lock hubs/wheels onto a Clubsport?
I am presuming that it would be a straight swop of the existing 4-stud hub to the
centre lock hub.

Also - do the split rim Prosport wheels fit okay onto the Clubsport - the offsets seem to be slightly different?

Same hubs, the centre lock bit just bolts onto it. Wheels will fit straight on but you might need to check clearance on bodywork if you have the early bodywork. I looked at doing this last year but I couldn't see any advantage of going to centre lock wheels over 4-stud ones.

Thanks Rob, I thought you might know

Slight cock-up on my information: the hubs and wheels we are hoping to fit are from an SR4!
not a Prosport.

Any further thoughts?

SR4 wheels are the same fitment as a prosport but not as wide!

Rob, JP, do you know how SR4 wheels compare to Clubsport for offset? Tim's interested in some surplus SR4 centrelocks I have with the corresponding hub adapters and we're trying to figure out if SR4 wheels can be bolted to a clubsport or not.

Thanks

Nick

I would say they are the same as a prosport is basically the same car well chassis wise anyway as far as i know suspension wishbones uprights are the same. Rob will put me right if i'm wrongwink

I don't know to be honest. Like J-P i'd expect them to fit with out to much hassle as the chassis are so similar. Might just be a case of suck and see or if you know some one with a Prosport that'll let you try a SR4 wheel on?

Guys, just be carefull with the offset, I've seen Prosport/SR4 rears with different offsets, one just clears the top rod end bolt by a few mm the other doesn't by the same amount

Thanks guys, looks like a trail fitment might be the best approach.
