Could be the position of the TPS, sadly you'll need a diag cable and ecu software to check/reset it. Altering the tick over screw on the TB's will alter the TPS setting, which isn't a good thing

Its a MBE system so you might be able to get it direct from them. Just give them the model number of the ECU (I don't have a SR3 so can't help with that). However it might be a tad expensive, otherwise a quick trip to Radical/Powertec might be in order

if you are having trouble getting a download lead you can use a volt meter to set the tps. all you need to do is pull back the heat sheild on the tps sure seal plug and put the volt meter pins down the side of the sure seal to make contact. you will need to put one volt meter pin in the red wire and the other in the yellow wire. keep the tps plug connected to the rest of the wire harness and have the ignition on. when you have made contact start the car up and when it is idling it should read 0.20 volts. if you ever need to adjust your idle you should always check your tps at the same time.

Hi, this is low-tech answer, but I can tell you my CS's tickover is a lot, lot better since fitting a new battery (Varley Red Top). The reason I changed it was the old wouldn't hold charge for any decent length of time, the smoother tickover was a complete bonus! cheers Geoff (Rad1cal)

You can download the software from mbe directly - however you'll also need the can adapater in order to connect to the ecu which you'll have to buy from MBE or Radical. You can check without though, just use a standard voltmeter on the tps. As far as I remember, the Voltage should read 2V with the throttle closed.
But you can simply adjust the idle on the linkage at the throttlebodies (Hayabusas motorbikes have a flexible rod that is used to adjust idle speed so you'll be fine) - it won't effect the mixture or anything, it's purely mechanical.

Felix
