Hi guys been new to this
I now it’s probably been asked before but
Do you now of anyone other than radical
That might make a quiet track day silencer
For the SR3
From what I have been reading there’s is not that quiet??
I would like to get on 98 dba days if it’s possible
When I sort out the noise I will book a track day

Thanks
Tracksport

The new rad one is reputed to be quiet, see here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=241169&hw=+%2Bquiet+%2Bsilencer

A mate of mine runs a clubsport and has loads of trouble with noise at circuits. The Rad can is way too loud, he has a single bike derived can that gets it right down but is now borderline also with the continually dropping db limit. He's currently fashioning a pair of big bike cans to fit, should get it really low if it works...

Is that the new quiet can or the previous one? I have the prev one, but the new one is talked about (in the thread quoted) as being quite good.

Definately the older one (it's the older Clubsport).

Been there & done that. I run a Clubsport only on track days and ended up buying a Radical Special. Its NOT a straight through device but even so it just gave me 100/100.5 Db at Castle Coombe a couple of weeks ago. I have also made up an additional box that goes on at 90 degrees to the tail pipe and with that added it makes 97Db. By the way Castle Coombe ask for the 3rd Orange light to just illuminate. The strange thing with this set up is that the drive-by is very quiet. There's just no pleasing some people.
