Clubsport & Noise Testing
Discussion
There is a lot of info here on previous posts on this subject. IMHO if you are using the car for track days you need to avoid the tracks that demand less than 105db. You might get through a static test if you have a good silencer (and you lie about the rev lights) but on track if driven in anger the overall noise of the car will get you chucked off track.

I´ve been to hockenheim. The noise limit is 104db measured at driveby with an automated system.
If your car is to loud they give you the black flag.

I've been pulled up at Donington on drive by and the circuit is at the end of East midland airport!! I have also had problems at Goodwood and Oulton Park. Bedford is another circuit that it very strict on noise. IMO if you want to use all of the revs available to you it is very difficult if not impossible stay within the levels that some circuits require.
