Wake up, that boy at the back! sleep

I’m having an air box made up for my 1100 Clubsport. The Radical illustrated parts catalogue shows a vent hose going from the flat slide carbs to the air box. I’m not sure what the function of this hose is, but that’s not the problem.

Could someone tell me how this vent hose is retained in the air box – is it done with a couple of cable ties; one inside the box and one outside the box? Or is there some kind of fancy connector?

Rob
You would be wrong on mine it had a wotsit a thingymebob and a whatymycallit holding it in or was it just rammed in there.
Clubsport has gone sad to see it go, if you read this Mark you better look after it.

Mine was just rammed in.....but that may have been a "modification" the previous owner had done

Actually, I think I'm going to go with your idea J-P.
Luckily, I've found a wotsit and a thingymebob in my spares box, so all I need now is a whatymycallit. Has anyone got one, or do you think I can get away with a cable tie?
