how much oil?

in a clubsport dry sump system? Gonna be draining on saturday and wondered how big a container I needed!

No good asking me Graham - I haven't got a dry sump system...yet!

Speaking to Van Kaiser a little while back, I think he said it would be about 6 litres.

Does anyone know any different?

Don't know about the quantity you'll need, but am interested to read the answer. btw, which oil are you planning to use and what did you pay for it? I recall hearing something about using a special Silkolene blend but have yet to see it on sale anywhere, cheers

Not sure I'm going to be able to answer the question! I took the pipe off the bottom of the ds tank and drained about 1.5l out which emptied the tank and allowed me tro remove it. So I have only managed to empty the tank which suits my purpose!

I will be using silkolene to put back, but can't tell you which as it's in my garage which is about 6k miles away from me ATM!

the oil you will need is silkolene pro4 15w50 fully synthetic. as for how much you will need all i no is i think it will take a little more than one container not too sure though.

I'm hoping that the 1.5l I took out didn't empty the system, esle I could be in trouble!
