You have to stand on the seat left arm scratching your head and then press the button. Hay presto it still dosen't work. Even when they do work they don't if that makes any sensehehe

ahh i see. the motor its self mabey fukd or it might jus be electrical you can either check the wiring or get a new one . scrutineers dont check it as long as its on there how do they no. they never ask you to go reverse somewhere they jus say does that work and we jus say yh . lol . but in 750 mc they say you have to have a working reverse motor. to be honest we went nearly all season in with the reverse not working on our prosport. i wouldnt realy worry about it unless it says you need a working one in the rules and regs .

Don't know the excact wording but all cars do need a working reverse gear, lets hope they don't start checking us all, as the races with all bike engines in might not have a lot of starters

From 2006 Blue Book

E.12.11.2

Be equipped with a reverse gear in normal working order unless otherwise stated in specific technical regulations. Racing cars of period A to F are exempt of this requirement.

Re reverse gear, I got my motor refurb last year and it now works as well as they every do

The test they use at Combe is asking you to reverse over a 1" x 1" wood baton, although I've not been tested, yet.
