I would quite like to fit a speedo to my clubsport. The radical dash displays speed as 00mph, so I assume it has the capacity to do speed. Is there anything like a standard fitment wheel speed sensor to fit and anything in the loom to connect it into the dash?

Thanks
Graham

Our 1100 Clubsport std dash shows MPH. The sensor is fitted close to the offside front wheel. Not sure about the wiring loom though! If you can't find any further info let me know. The car is having some work done to it Wed next week. I can ask our spanner man to check out how it's wired.

As Vic says the sensor is in the offside upright and picks up off the back of the disc, this is wired seperatly to the rest of the loom so you can trace it back to a 3 way connector near the back of the dash.
Sounds like your sensor is U/S to me.

I have one in the garage (along with a dash) if you need one as we have changed to a Digidash and junked the radical one, that way we get more info and a gear indicator in the same unit.

Thanks guys, I'll have a look and see whats happening.

Prawn, how good is the digidash? I would like to get a gear indicator, but thought that it was not feasible in the clubsport. Also as my clubsport is of the two seat variety, the driving position is offset to the right which makes looking at the central dash that bit harder. The shift lights are very hard to see. What are the dimensions of the digidash?

Thanks
Graham

Hi Graham,

We find the digidash very good, it is 160*90*28mm

Ours is mounted on the right behing the steering wheel which makes it much easier to read.
The gear display uses speed/revs to calculate a gear, once you have it all programmed up it is very easy to use, you just need to upload the relavant program for the gears you are running.

We chose it mainly for the gear indicator but it also gives more options on the parameters displayed and peak hold on all parameters etc which is usefull.

Would definatly recomend it to replace the std dash.

Will have the car out later at Donny for testing so will get a photo to load up.

brilliant thanks. Do you have the data logging one or the 'read-only' one?
Looked at the webby and they look good, but maybe above my available funds!!
