My brand new BJ A series has just been nicked from my house in epsom. I will be keeping an eye on ebay, pistonheads classifieds, race cars direct for it. Anyone else know where it might be disposed of?

I'm looking for a trailer at the moment so if a dodgy one comes up I'll give you a shout. Do you know the serial number of it?

Very Sorry to hear that, there is nothing worse, I take it you weren't insured just like most people including me. Did it have any distinguishing attachments or features?

Will keep an eye out down here in south Wales.

My sympathies. Same thing happened to me, my BJ A series trailer with "SR3" stamped on it got nicked.

Police reckoned it would be on the boat to Ireland and I've not heard hide nor hair.

It has not much to distinguish it as mine. Brand new (!) with jerry can holder on the front with 4 green jerry cans in.

Notified the police yesterday, spoke to the front line who said someone will call you back. I don't actually expect to hear back from them! I certainly dont expect it back!

Not insured as most aren't. But I will look at insurance next time as 2/3 or the trailers I have ever owned have been stolen (yes I have owned 3!).

I have already planned the building work required to put a big gate across the part of the driveway where it lives, well where the next one will live.

SO I am back in the trailer market again!

Anyone know anything about trailer security?

My brand new BJ Club got stolen from my driveway in Wallington, the big yellow wheel clamp fitted to it seemed to be no deterrent whatsoever.

We now have CAME security gates at the front of the house so nothing goes in or out without us opening them, have to say they have been a superb investment.

My other trailer security tip is to buy one that looks shagged but works. Did this three years ago and had no problems until I sold it (on PH) last week because we're getting building work done and as well as a lack of space the gates will be out of action for a while.
