Does anyone know the fundamental differences between the Club and Pro sports?

The differences I know of are -

- Engine
- Wheels
- Tyres (cross ply vs radial)
- Bodywork i.e. wings/splitters

Reason for asking is that I'm looking to run a Clubsport next year, it'll be my first year circuit racing a car so I'm looking for track time in the car and reliability but with an option to increase performance later on. But I would like the option of upgrading the club sport at a later date to ProSport spec but fundamentally just the bodywork/wheels/tyres to start with. Engine will be a later project once the bank account recovers from the other upgrades. But if the Club/Pro sports are radically different (see what I did there ) then this might be the wrong way to go initially. I was led to believe that the chassis/running gear on both models were the same (with the obvious revisions in chassis design over the years)

Any feedback would be great.

Cheers
Rob

don't know the answer, per se, and I'm sure there will be lots of answers here. If not by any chance, then try phoning Van Kaiser of Slipstream racing on 07747 845055. He's a top chap and knows a lot about Radicals.

Thanks Graham!

Decided to scrap that idea and invest in a 1300cc ProSport
