I just read on DSC that Shaun Balfe has broken the outright lap record at Cadwell Park (stood for 23 years! ) driving one of the SR8's in the Radical Festival.

Former laptim was set by an F3 car, which means the SR8 must be knocking on the door of current LMP2 laptimes around some circuits! Bodes well for the SR9 next year... :D

Enrique Mansilla drove a Ralt in 1982 in a lap time of 1m 23 secs.

Havig witnessed the last ever TVR Tuscan round at the circuit (and all the carnage), I'm pretty impressed that the quickest Radicals actually went to Cadwell...

New record stands at 1m 22.5s.

Balfe lowered it by another tenth of a second in race three today.
