Hi.

Asking for a bit of info here....

I have a SR3 SL......I presume it has a similar clutch to a SR3, maybe.

Anyway, the clutch has been having issues......now it does not work at all and fluid is coming from the housing (hole at bottom of housing)

My question....I presume to get to the clutch, I am going to have to undo the housing....correct?

Can't answer the question, but is that arrangement of bolt and intermediate nut a normal thing?

Hi Bert,

Thanks for getting back to me

I noticed this as well, I think this has been added when I have recently had some work done on the car. Maybe they did not have the correct length bolt?

Looking at this

The other bolts are Allen key jobs

Interesting. If I have a bolt that's to long, I chop the end off! Hope you get the clutch fluid leak sorted.

Update.....job done!

Good news....the job cost nothing to do. It needed new o rings on the clutch actuator....I dug out one from some bits and pieces I already has

Bad news...the job took me most of Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon!

Could not be bothered to cut that bolt down.....on the list of things to do!
