It's been a couple of years since I looked at anything Radical, but I notice that the new cars on their website and showing 226hp from the 1,500cc engine, rather than the previous 252hp.

What has changed in the engine department?

I presume only the current engines are permissible in the championship?

I lost track, but they have been through quite a few iterations in recent years.

ETA: Current UK regs says:

1500
Gen 1
Gen 2
Gen 3 Short stroke
Gen 4 Long stroke

That looks like all generations of the 1500, but not 100% sure.

Look here for regs... https://www.radicalsportscars.com/go-racing/challe...
