Motul C4 chain lube - Anyone using it?

I bought some of this because it's highly rated but it's certainly different from what I'm used to, it's more a wax than an oil. I used to keep my chain so it was visually wet but with this it's harder to tell how much is on and when to re-apply?

Any opinions/thoughts?
