If I recall correctly this has come up before but I noticed they are not listed in the component life span chart in the manual. It let go at Rockingham on a new (to me car) so can't comment on the history. Do people replace these regularly or just replace when they go?

Cheers,

Duncan.

HTH Cheers, Trev thumbup

PS Maybe it's those three left handers on the trot @ Rockingham wink

Cheers for the 'link' Trev biggrin

It wasn't overly dramatic Rob, the break happened at the bump where the track transitions from the banked oval into the infield. The handling went from being on the nose to washing out with under steer mid corner and that's about it.

I'll get a set ordered up along with a few other bits and bobs.

Cheers,
Dunc.

was it the front that failed?

Yes it was a rear one that snapped on splitpin's SR4 a while back as well so maybe they are the ones prone to snapping.

Hi Dunc
I may have a spare medium rear link at work but would need to check

My rear one snapped a while ago. I'm guessing it's just a fatigue fracture as they are designed to flex.

Hi Josh, is it new or used? If they are failing due to fatigue I'd be as well getting a new one (or a new set).

Cheers,

Dunc.
