Hi all, any idea of the torque setting of the front sprocket nut of a heavy duty output shaft is please? I tried goolgling it, however I didn't come across anything. Cheers

Both Gen 1 and Gen 2 manuals state 105 lb/ft with thread lock (Gen 2 has bigger output shaft than Gen 1 but not as big as the aftermarket 'big' output shaft).

Hope that helps?

Cheers mate, so am assuming a bit more than that for the blackbird output shaft. 😀

The thread size on the Gen 2 output shaft is 22mm OD 1.5mm pitch, I don't know what the Blackbird thread size is, sorry

The nut used for the H/D output shaft is the same as the standard item on early H/D output shafts, just with the inside machined out so that it clears the increased diameter of the splines.

The newer/later output shafts use the Gen 2 nut.

The recommend torque on any of these would be 115ft/lbs with 648 Loctite.
