Brake Pressure issue
Discussion
Another brake pressure problem, we have installed a Race technology DL1 & Dash into our radical SR3 to replace the farrigndon system.
I've hooked up the brake pressure sensor to the DL1 (was previously connected to the farrigndon and working) all I get from the pressure sender is a constant 3.4v with no change when pressure is applied?
I've double checked the wiring and put a multimeter on the back of the sender and the volts out is the same as the DL1 is receiving.
Any suggestions?
Sam
Just a couple of thoughts...
Could it be that the brake pressure sensor got damaged when moved from the old fitting to the new one?
What about the other sensor (I assume you have separate sensors for Front and Rear pressures)? Is it showing coherent voltages?
Else is it possible that the wiring to the sensor may be damaged and making a short somewhere on the chassis?
Be interesting to know what the issue was once you find it.
