Sr3 Pirelli tyres
Discussion
New to Radicals and have only been out in my 4 times. It's a bit of a learning curve and such a different beast than my GT3. My last outing was a with a set of new michelins and damn was that fun! My Dunlops took a bit to come in, and we're probably tired and HC-ed out. I don't have experience with the Pirelli or Hoosers on the car so also looking forward to your review. Longevity is also key as none of these are cheap!

I bought the Michs for $1200 delivered from Rad last month- prob a better option and known setup- race proven.
Love to hear more ............ neither Michelins nor $1200 (£815GBP) for a set of round black things from Radical makes much sense to us blokes in the homeland.Over here Radical only supply Radical Dunlop tyres (last time I heard they were Dunlop's 2nd biggest Motorsport tyre Customer) and a set of slicks for a 3 is £1400 including 'has to be paid' (and can be reclaimed by some) 20% VAT which goes straight to the government for doing the square root of SFA (Sweet Feck All)

Order them from RadicalWest in Nevada. Msrp is ~$1400 but they ran a sale in May of $1200 shipped and they also expressed interest in volume orders. These guys only use Mich now and this tire was developed and launched at Spring Mountain. Grip was incredible- especially for the price. Hadn't realised Pirelli made a size to fit. I changed to Hankooks last year which for me at least, are so much better than the standard compound Dunlops. Warm up much quicker and inspire confidence, unlike the Dunlops which needed tip toeing around for several laps. Much cheaper as well.
Radical are now offering soft compound Dunlops for track days, but i suspect they will be expensive.
