Am I correct in thinking that pressurised oil goes to the top of the cooler and is drawn back to the engine through the bottom pipe? Engine is a wet sump hayabusa. I'm reinstalling the engine and am doubting my labeling on the pipes, I think I've got them the wrong way round. If anyone has a diagram or picture of connections that would be a great help. Thanks.

Just noticed my spelling mistake, obviously I meant Porpsort. Has anyone got the foggiest idea how the oil cooler connections go? Does it even matter, trawling the internet I've found both ways described. It's beginning to feel like a very expensive 50/50 gamble.

Problem is you are talking about a long since discontinued legacy Porpsrot that noone has any more. I reckon you could phone the Rdacial fatcory and get the answer in a tirce biggrin

My Clubsport has the oil fed into the oil cooler at the bottom, the outlet from the oil cooler (at the top) goes back to the engine (via the dry sump tank) but I would have thought that it would be the same for a wet sump engine.
