Radical or Juno for Track Days
Discussion
Compared to a SR3, I think the Juno is the better proposition in terms of inherent reliability/durability (i.e. mainly because it presumably has something like a proper Hewland rather expecting a bike gearbox to keep reliably functioning way beyond what it was originally designed for) but a poorer proposition in terms of it appearing to be a single seater - 'Billy No Mates Types' aside, I don't really get why anyone would actually choose a single seater sports-proto for trackday use when they could have a two seater and give friends and family shotgun rides as well as offering the scope for in-car personal tuition. I guess something like an SR3SL would come pretty close to being a perfect SP TD Fit, but there are other choices beyond both Juno and Radical that might be of interest/relevance; perhaps even a modified Sports 2000?
I'd also recommend that every trackdaying sports-proto has front lights fitted aand uses them accordingly - wish I had a £1 for every time I'd seen a sports-proto take another car by surprise, sometimes with expensive 'consequences' for both parties.
All that said, I think that Juno looks absolutely cracking; skid Marks guaranteed?
Cheers

I bought my SR3RS as a replacement track day car after a very fragile K Series R500 Caterham and a hugely expensive (on tyres) GT3. Unfortunately, it hardly ever got used because it was nearly impossible to get through the noise tests at most venues, so the answer is simple for me - whichever can run below 100dB!
Vary good point about the passenger seat Split Pin, the Radical had the best cockpit by far for a two up ride, Juno defo not good at this. I would have really liked an SR5 for the reasons you mention but rarely available.

Yes I did also struggle with noise at some venues, Snetterton even at 105 db got a bit tricky with me on some occasions. I had the 98db exhaust option but they said I was 107 ?

I had precisely the same and at Snett too on my RS back in 2010! ............. they must have put that duff one back into stock and it eventually found its way onto your car No mines a 2.0 Honda although they do a V6 Nissan, There is a V8 Nissan in the LMP3 Juno Ginetta Car and as you will probably guess from that Juno has merged with Ginetta

Does that have the Nissan v8 in the back? ??
What's happened to Juno now they've been bought? The only "Junos" I can find on t'interweb are the LMP3 project cars?
Not for me anyway, no epic road trips to the tracks.
