Bought a set from these guys www.hankookmotorsport.com fitted them in Birmingham and very helpful look great and so much cheaper figures crossed .
This thread is mega old but just looking for current opinions on the Hankooks or best tire for track day duty. 20-25 mins sessions. I'm in the states and most run the Dunlops here. Will probably stick with them as no one here seems to comment on the Hankooks, which are only a couple hundred cheaper.
Thoughts between the two?

I ran Hankooks on my SR3rs this year in a race, having tried pirellis at the beginning of the season and in the warm they performed very well and didn't go off. They took a lot longer to come up to temp in anything but hot weather.
For trackday they are fine and will last forever. I have not run them in the cold though.
I put Dunlops back on towards the end of season and the car worked better.
I will say that with a bit of testing and setup, both the Pirellis and Hankooks would get better, whether they would match the Dunlops, I don't know.
