Hi all,

I've read on a previous post to just use a regular grease in a pr6 diff. My question is how much would you put in? (Does it's come out anywhere when it's full) and how often do people normally top it up.

Regards

Phil.

Hi Phil, I usenormal grease on my pr6 diff. In 3 years I only topped up once. It didn't really need either. You will notice when full because it will come out from the "nipple" through grease gun hose

Phil, I am one of several who seem to subscribe to the theory that although we know darn well that hardly any ever goes in (so it's likely a total waste of time and grease), because it's got nipples we do it anyway!

I used do it every time we did a top to tail nut and bolt check - good quality hd gun, three squeezes, good old Castrol LM, plenty of paper towel to clean up the surplus.

Sounds like a wild night all in all. hehe

Cheers
