what happened at spa yesterday

Just watched today's race on YouTube to find Sr3s only and a reference to yesterday by the commentators.

There was an incident in Race 1.

Any clue as to what caused it? It looks like the rear tyre delaminated but that's a huge guess.

According to people who were at the track the tyre defo delaminated and it's not the first time on an SR8, three times this year so they pulled the second race until the full cause is established.

Have to say I take my hat off to the strength of the crash cell on the SR cars to take hit like that and the driver only gets a couple of broken ribs n concussion is testament to its build quality.
