Need some info on a pr6 i purchased .Changing from dunlops to a15 Avon radials .car to be used on Irish hills (bumpy)
Spring rates? Camber? Tyre pressures? . It's got floating hi spec brakes , any recommendation for brake pads (probably soft as only used sprints and hills.

I'll email you set up details separately.

Good choice of brakes! For friction material you need Peformance Friction PF01. See here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... Friction pads for all the rest of the info on PF01.

If you don't have a local PF supplier then I suggest talking to the Late Great Roy Lane's son, Antony at Techcraft: http://www.techcraft.co.uk/ who

Ah, yes.

On a bumpy (and cambered?) Irish Hill where maintaining tyre to ground contact is a challenge, particularly in load transitions, then high initial bite rather than smooth and consistent retardation is exactly what you need.

Isn't it? whistle

Nobody has bumpier hillclimbs as much as us in Malta :-) I use Ferodo DS2500 on my pr6, and I think they are great ;-).
Why A15??? What sort of power do you have? I use A92 radials on mine, they are simply fantastic. Our hillclimbs are an average of 50 seconds.

Car has rpe 1585 engine ,will wait until I see output on rolling road . The a92s would not last on our hills. The surface is tar and chippings and cuts tyres. Take your advice on pads. Car has not been used for some time due to vendor working in Africa . The ecu may have a problem due to battery llife. Have borrowed a ecu plus loom together running

.......and (assuming one is a Ferodo fan) your reasons for prefering DS 2500 over DS1.11?

Yep ecu locked ,confirmed by radical. Plan b switch ecu from a 1600 oms and loom to get running. Replace ecu with latest ecu.
Anyone ever use a dta on a hyabusa ( user friendly)
