I've got my first Bikesports race on Sunday and figuring out how much fuel I need for the race.

How much fuel do people plan to have in the tank at the end of a race? So far the lowest I've pumped out is 7L with no starvation so I know that level is safe. How much fuel do people put in for an 18min race?

what car are you running, i was told a couple of weeks ago that the 1500cc SR3RS uses about 0.75ltr per min in race conditions, I've no race experience so don't take my word for it.

It would be interesting to know though as I'm thinking of doing one bikesports rounds towards the end of the summer.

Good point... I hear more weight adds grip!

My SR3 1300 uses about 0.4 to 0.5l per lap on the tracks I run at here. I aim for 5l in the tank at the end to make sure I have no fuel pressure issues; and to cope with anything unexpected.
I got pretty close to empty on one race when there were a couple of long safety car periods, but they gave us all the race laps too.

What is the standard fuel cell capacity for our cars? (I searched but could not find). Mines a SR8 but it should be identical to the SR3 RS? Thanks, John

Last week I came in with less than a litre. Gave me a fright but data showed no problems in regards to fuel pressure.
